STRAIGHT FROM HEATHER'S KITCHEN
Heather's Kitchen Hi, my name is Heather, and my favorite hobby is cooking. Not only do I love to cook, but I love to share my recipes. At STARIGHT FROM HEATHER'S KITCHEN you will find a new and exciting recipe every month. Some will be traditional and others my own concotions. Some recipes will be fast and easy while others my take a while and be messy. But most importantly every recipe on this site will be sure to please yours and your familes taste buds!





Shrimp Creole

1 medium onion finely chopped
2 tbs. of butter
1 small green pepper chopped
1 small celery stalk chaopped
1 bay leaf crushed
1 tsp. snipped parsley
1 tsp. of salt
1/8 tsp. of cayenne pepper
1 can (6oz) of tomato paste
2 cups of water
2 cups of cleaned and cooked shrimp
3 cups of hot cooked rice





Cook and stir onion in margarine, in 2 qaurt saucepan until onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients except for the shrimp and rice. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionly for 30 minutes. Then stir in shrimp, heat through and serve over the cooked rice.

Makes 6 servings.
